ISO Standards

The International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) is a body that sets regularities globally to promote the property and commercial development of firms. Consequently, it was developed to merge the best way of conducting various activities such as managing pollution from manufacturing companies (Marsh, 2017). Subsequently, international standards have succeeded reliability and enabled consumers to have confidence that the products produced are safe for consumption. ISO touches on daily life aspects, hence, promoting the nature of being visible in action and also bringing economic benefit. Environmental aspects such as emission of gases are controlled to create an enabling business environment. Therefore, International Standards Organisation plays a significant role in global market by neutralizing the requirements.

The level of competitiveness in different states is high since industries thrive to manufacture products of high quality to increase demand and supply of the products, hence, expanding the market. ISO embraces innovation capability of firms since it lacks restrictions on the new goods introduced into the market. The Standards create political and business cooperation by promoting consensus in all sectors and encouraging sharing of ideas. Managerial objectives are achievable via these values since legal requirements are implemented which improve the description of statutory diligence of the industry. Framework conditions are supported due to the state safeguarding the market from political irregularities that corrupt development of global markets (Marsh, 2017).

Participation of ISO is slowly resulting in changes in business ethics among the stakeholders including being self-selecting and cooperative in their operations. Besides, the policies set by the organization aim at reducing pollution such as gas emissions discharges to water bodies. Therefore, the standards help in maintaining a healthy environment for all stakeholders to carry out their activities (Marsh, 2017). Managers should, therefore, promote the effectiveness of ISO since their influence is core and would result in development of the business empire.
