Introduction
Art is the application of human creative skills and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting and sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty and this is what most people believe to be an art. Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual, auditory or performing artifacts, expressing the author’s imaginative, conceptual ideas, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. There are different types of arts, which are visual art, drawing, paintings, and sculpture. Painting is the best form of art to try and it has so many types that gives a better experience.
Painting
It is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color with the help of brushes in a certain way to a solid surface in order to create art. We will concentrate on painting as it is the most interesting activity of art. There are different kinds of painting materials like sand, paper, clay. Under painting, there are modern styles that the most sought-after technique; it allows the artist to bring forth her ideas on the canvas with a mixture of modernism. (Bimler et al.2). Underpainting, we have types like;
Oil painting
Oil painting can be a difficult task for beginners. Oil painting is suitable for almost all kinds of styles. You get to work with the smooth texture of the paint, and it has a wonderful scent to it. It also uses some drying oil as a binder to the pigments, which gives the wonderful buttery feel to the paint. (Bahr et al.12).
Watercolor painting
Watercolor painting is usually done on the paper. In this particular type of painting, one uses water-based solutions to mix the colors and hence the name watercolor painting. One uses this water-based solution to draw a pattern or an image on a plain paper.
Spray paint
Paint is usually administered from a spray bottle to achieve the desired results. Most spray paints are used on streets, canvas, wood, and metal. If a large area of canvas requires the same pigment, spray painting techniques are used to cover the areas for faster turnout.
Acrylic paining
It is a fast-drying paint, and it being a water-soluble paint yet when the painting is done, its turn to be water-resistant. It is used mostly in molding, sculptures, and facial features. It’s easier to clean brushes after use since acrylic paints need only water to wash them off.
Digital painting
This is the art of creating artwork on a computer, which makes it resemble a watercolor painting and oil painting. And here more efficient and useful features are provided and it is always easy to use this digital painting compared to the rest (Di Lucrezia 246).

From all the forms of arts we have tackled painting was the most interesting one with a lot of useful information that can encourage you to try practice painting and also painting is all about letting your inner creativity on a piece of canvas, which will be totally liberating.
