Organization Performance Management Paper
Different organizations, even though in the same category provide varied services. These services are inclusive of emergency medical services, health maintenance among others. This being the case, the type of communication that may work on one organization may not necessarily work on another and is often tailored to an organization’s specific aims. To ensure the alignment of organizational goals, some organizations may use face to face communication while others use meetings that are held regularly to discuss the organization’s goals and mileage. Communication can also be done via memos and emails to give direction on how compliance ought to be achieved (Carter & Goldsmith, 2005).
Compliance with the set rules and regulations will ensure that the facilities are up to date, and have met the standard rules of operations. Compliance will enable the organization establish quality related goals that would in turn improve the patient’s outcome in the delivery of healthcare. At the same time, it provides areas that need improvement as well as helping in undertaking of root cause analysis. This is significant in the assessment of organizational objectives and implementation processes. Compliance will ensure that the relevant bodies can accredit them and give them the necessary support including funding. At the same time, compliance with the regulations will ensure that the said organization have a positive image from the customers, thereby increasing their reputation and increased customer base. The development of risk and quality management will therefore ensure adherence to standards, thereby creating efficiency in the organizations (Kavaler & Spiegel, 2003). Embracing risk management principles would lead to minimal risks as well as quality enhancement in case of disasters and emergencies
