Discuss: Care of Patients with Problems Related to Nutrition, Gastrointestinal, and Urinary Function
Read the assigned readings posted in the module. Discuss in your groups how the aging process impacts health and illness. Provide at least 2 references from the literature to support your statements. Work with your group to address the following questions
- Describe the focused assessment for a patient who presents with symptoms of gastrointestinal or urinary problems.
- What interventions are important to include in a plan of care for a patient who is experiencing gastrointestinal or urinary problems.
- Develop a discharge plan for the patient.
